Values for TiE Group:

Effort, but not earning; grace is for the whole journey, not just conversion.

The righteousness, peace and joy of the Kingdom, replacing neurotic religious fanaticism.

This life matters, not just the life to come.

Three is EnoughNeither spiritual formation nor a missional engagement with the world can be something we add to an over busy, already out of control life. We must be followers of Jesus for the sake of others within the existing contexts, rhythms and routines of our actual present life—not some different life we hope for, but never comes.

We want to see the spiritual practice of otherlyness in the life of every believer.

We do not believe that God would ask us to do something—be his cooperative friends—and then make it impossible for us to do.

Thus, choosing to be his apprentices, we value our relationship with Jesus who is our Lord and Master in how to be a faithful child of God.

We value the Holy Spirit as our guide and source of character and power, interacting with him in conversational ways, but without hype or pretense.

We desire that others enter life in the Kingdom.

We enjoy making known Jesus, and the way of Jesus in the Kingdom.

A Three is Enough Group is not “the thing” or the next new thing. The Thing is to follow Jesus as an ambassador of the kingdom in such a way that those around us experience our follower-ship us as for their good. While TiE could be branded, such a life never could. Such lives have been led by millions of people, in all ages, in diverse ways and in every ethnic and national context. TiE Group simply seek to assist toward this kind of life today.

Never the “spiritual police,” “office nag,” or creepy religious person.

Gentleness, humility, altruistic and hidden in service to others.

TiE is not critical of church; rather it helps to facilitate church as “the sent people of God” in every aspect of human life.
