I know, I know I said I would post two to three times a week. But in my mind the blog was not “live” yet because I had not send out an announcement letting people know it was there. Plus, I’ve got some great excuses: I’ve had three big publishing deadlines the last two weeks plus travel every week. Plus my friend Ryan, who has been helping me design the site has needed to be by the side of his eleven year-old son in ICU the last two weeks. Also, and how is this for embarrassingly lame, I do not know how to use WordPress yet, so my friend Winn has been working with me to build the site. But, Winn is a adjunct professor who has been buried with reading dissertation for graduating students.

So, we will go live soon, and I promise once we do that I will post more often and keep building the TiE pages. Look soon for book reviews, opportunities to book TiE events and wiki ways that you can contribute to the site.

Just ten minutes ago I send off the most recent draft of my first book to IVP. I feel like I just graduated with another degree of something! So now I am going home to spend some time with an old friend who is passing through Idaho this weekend.
